In Tech-Ed classes, Mr. Backes and his students have been busy creating items such as; Hand crafted wooden boxes, clocks, clip boards, flowers, picture frames, and wooden foot stools.This holiday season the students are making wooden snowman for a local kindergarten class. The kindergarten class will then paint and decorate their snowman however they like.
The goal of the Student Council is to provide Norris students with representation, services and advocacy throughout the school year. The Student Council provides positive role models in both leadership and accountability. While actively advocating for their peers, members recognize that problem resolution and strength arises from diversity, engagement, and open dialogue.
Students and staff take field trips to a variety of locations throughout the school year. This past September, Miss Metzner and a few her students from history class traveled to the Maritime Mueseum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
