THREE NORRIS GROUP HOMES

These three group homes are located on the beautiful Norris campus.   This allows the homes to maintain the structure of the Norris Center, utilize the 900 acres and yet approach a more independent life style in preparation for return to the community.   The Norris group homes are a great way to transition from the structure of residential care back to the community and home.

Fannie Wells Group Home A specialized group home for boys 13 to 18 years of age All single bed rooms for a more supervised setting Independent groups are scheduled on a regular basis Targets issues of sexuality and mental health Attend school at the DPI certified Norris school
		Schroeder House Group Home The Schroeder House works with boys 13 to 18 years of age This home emphasizes gaining independent skills by having a qualified staff running groups and learning activities with the boys Employment opportunities are discussed with the boys when they are ready All students will attend the DPI certified school on campus
Berman House Group Home The Berman House specializes in working with boys 13 to 18 who are in a recovery stage of alcohol and other drugs abuse Group Therapy Off ground support meetings may be utilized if appropriate for that individual This home works with independent skills training Employment opportunities are discussed with the boys when they are ready All students will attend the DPI certified school on campus.
