The Norris Adolescent Center Residential Program
The Norris Residential Program provides an exceptional treatment program for clients with specific treatment needs. Each residential unit specializes in a specific treatment modality and serves up to 12 clients in each specialty program. Each unit utilizes a therapeutic treatment team consisting of a Masters Level Social Worker/Case Manager, an experienced Unit Manager, and up to 7 highly trained Youth Counselors. Daily living and program activities are managed by the treatment team to provide effective, individual programming for each client. The client program involves individual, group, and family therapy, as well as family meetings, community contacts, therapuetic recreation, educational assessments and school credit recovery.
Developing a relationship with each client is important at Norris. Each client is assigned an individual youth counselor as their primary youth worker and meet individually with their Social Worker/Case Manager weekly to receive therapy and to measure and evaluate their treatment progress.
