Becoming a foster parent is one of the most meaningful ways you can change a child’s life. At Norris, we believe that when children are surrounded by stability, structure, and compassion, their futures can transform.
Across the United States, there are over 400,000 children in foster care, and more than 7,000 of them live right here in Wisconsin. In Southeastern Wisconsin alone, children enter foster care at the rate of 114 kids every month—26 every week—3 every day. Children enter care through no fault of their own, often due to circumstances beyond their control.
There is a particularly high need for foster families who can welcome:
- Sibling groups (so brothers and sisters can stay together)
- Older youth and teens
- Children with complex needs
That’s where Norris comes in. We are currently seeking foster families in Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Waukesha, Washington, Walworth, Jefferson, Sheboygan, Rock, Dane, Dodge, Ozaukee, Fond du Lac, and Columbia Counties.
At Norris, the foundation of everything we do is relationships. Building and nurturing connections with children and families is the key to helping them heal and thrive. That’s why our guiding belief is simple but powerful: Connections Matter.
If you’ve ever felt the pull to make a difference—this could be your moment. Becoming a therapeutic foster parent with Norris means you’re not just opening your home—you’re opening the door to hope, healing, and new possibilities.
