Employee Spotlight: Mike Mosehart, Assistant Physical Plant Manager

When I think about Mike, I think about the old saying:  Laughter is the best medicine. Mike is truly the person the on campus that can get anyone and everyone to smile, no matter the day or situation. In the field of social services humor is so important to help us stay resilient and hopeful about the work that we do. Laughter is also such an important piece to helping the youth on campus feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you Mike for always having a smile on your face and your commitment to helping support the staff and youth!

How long have you worked at Norris?  What position did you start in? What positions have you been in?

18 years, started as a maintenance worker and then promoted to Assistant Physical Plant Manager after four months.

A new one every day

What was the last gift that you gave to someone?

Stuffed animal to Brittni

*It should be noted that Mike is constantly giving funny and unexpected “gifts” to staff

Move up North

When was the last time you traveled somewhere new?

In May of this year, we traveled to Colorado
